We engaged the services of In and Out Living through our Builder Heritage Building Group.
From the moment we met with Boyd we felt at ease and had confidence in his team’s ability to set up our landscaping. I struggled to find the right words for the finished result of this property. Magnificent masterpiece? Gracious grandeur? Serene sophistication? The property is both impressive in styling as well as peaceful with several beautiful spaces to do life.
In and Out Living worked with the owners from the ground up, including the paving, gardens and many many outstanding features.
The paving is wetlaid granite on a concrete base, making it highly durable, strong and long lasting. The front yard includes wetlaid steppers, ensuring minimal movement as time passes.
In and Out Living planted and irrigated all the lawns and all the gardens, including the vegetable garden beds and stunning feature Chinese garden.
The features do not stop there.
To the left of this picture is a unique pool fence, built with timber posts sourced and rescued from the Tumby Bay Jetty. They tie in beautifully with the timber used in the feature vine arbour.
You can see why I struggled to find a fitting name for this outstanding property.
Complete with enormous pots and this hanging seat, this is truly is a peaceful space to simply relax and enjoy life.

Christmas on this designer decking is designed to delight.
In fact any time of the year, this decking is a wonderful space to unwind and enjoy the natural environment that the Adelaide Hills have to offer.
Built with attention to detail and outstanding workmanship, this is a project we are very proud of.
All fixtures were galvanized, and counter sunk, timber was bitumen painted when it made contact to ground concrete and all stainless steel wires are 316 marine grade. We pride ourselves in the fact that our work is designed and built to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Not everyone likes to stand out, but this landscape design certainly does. This project consisted of two prestigious homes, landscaped for sale, with plenty of outstanding features.
The palm tree, beautifully lit, stands out from the surrounding decking. The decking of course was cut meticulously around the base of the tree to allow it many years of future growth.
Three enormous feature planters, measuring 1.8m high each offer a striking “stand-out” garden feature which is just as magnificent in the day as they are at night.
And an outdoor entertaining space where the indoors literally spills outside, together with lighting to impress.
You may or may not have heard of the term “Wet Lay”.
Wet Lay is a style of paving designed to produce a permanent, long lasting paving outcome.
You may be familiar with Dry Lay paving—the traditional method of paving, where pavers are laid on a sand bed.
When pavers are Wet Laid, they are laid into a mortar bed, a tried and tested mix of mortar and adhesive chemical. Pavers are then hit down into the mortar in such a way that some mortar comes up into the joins from underneath to help lock them together.
“Wet Lay paving means there is no slipping and sliding pavers over the years.”
The Wet Lay paving method will give you a longer lasting, stronger and better looking final result for your home.
